Summary:
The Converting Utility supports converting department operations by assisting machine operators, conducting quality checks, setting up materials, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. The role is fast-paced and requires strong attention to safety and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely perform a wide range of tasks supporting manufacturing and converting operations.
  • Assist operators with machine setups, tooling, jam-ups, and material staging.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure production meets specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support different machinery and assist in various production areas as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in fast-paced manufacturing preferred; corrugated environment a plus.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to advance.
