General Production Worker Job Description We are seeking entry-level fabricators with some welding experience to support a high-visibility project. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fabrication while working on notable projects. Responsibilities Assist with TIG welding tasks under supervision. Support fabrication and assembly of project components. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines. Essential Skills Basic welding experience (TIG preferred). Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Physical dexterity and ability to use hand and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with hand tools such as grinders, drills, saws, and clamps. Proficiency in using measuring tools like tape measures, calipers, and squares. Ability to read and follow basic shop drawings and blueprints. Knowledge of shop safety practices and PPE usage. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 4-5 PM. Overtime is mandatory and not negotiable. Enjoy two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break during your shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
