About us Maple Landmark is a full production woodshop, with a strong graphic application component. We produce small wood products, with our own standard line of toys, games and gifts. Custom work for other companies is also part of the mix. We do almost everything in-house, lumber in one door and finished product out the other. There are 39 people on staff, in all aspects of the business. It is very unlikely there are people with out there with direct experience in exactly what we do, so we expect to train. We need people who are truly interested in production work, are flexible and can thrive in an ever changing environment of problem solving and continuous improvement. The position We have openings in our woodshop operations - sanding, machining and assembly. We will train for basic work and can we give advanced positions to those coming in with solid relevant background in woodworking and/or manufacturing. We produce a wide variety of product in medium volume so flexibility is a must. Some tasks are semi-automated and some are very hands-on. Good candidates will be able to handle a dynamic environment and be able to learn and retain a fair amount of operational complexity. Previous woodworking or manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. If you have neither, please apply with a explanation stating your specific interest in this line of work.
