Cheese Production Team Member

Job Title:

General Labor

• Cheese Production/Processing (Seasonal)

Job Overview:

We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team in a seasonal general labor position at our cheese production and processing facility. This role supports daily operations by assisting with a variety of tasks throughout the production process, helping ensure products are handled safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. Training will begin soon, with limited hours initially . As production increases, hours will expand starting in May . Our production season typically runs through September . We will make every attempt to retain employees who work well within our team. Work takes place in an active food production environment where teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail are essential. Tasks may include assisting with production, packaging, sanitation, cleaning, and general facility support as needed.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Work is performed in a wet production environment on concrete floors . The facility can be loud due to production machinery . The role requires the ability to stand for the majority of the workday . Candidates must be able to lift, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift. Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy items as part of normal job duties. End times may vary based on daily production and order demand.

Job Expectations:

This role involves a significant amount of cleaning and sanitation to maintain food safety and production standards.

Food Safety & Facility Requirements:

Because we operate in a food production facility, strict sanitation policies must be followed: Jewelry, including piercings, must be removed before each shift. No nail polish or artificial nails are permitted.

Additional Information:

Uniforms are provided. Multi-lingual abilities are a plus. Training will be provided for all required tasks and food safety procedures. Ideal candidates are reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
