General Production Worker Job Description The General Production Worker supports the final finishing of windows before shipment from a large production facility. This role includes marking, taping, cleaning, wrapping, and labeling products, as well as safely moving windows across the production floor while protecting glass and frames from damage. The position is physically demanding and requires frequent lifting or team lifting of 50-75 pounds, strong attention to detail, and prior production experience to ensure products meet quality standards. Responsibilities Finish windows prior to shipment by carefully marking, taping, cleaning, wrapping, and labeling products according to established procedures. Move windows and related materials throughout the production floor while ensuring no damage occurs to glass, frames, or components. Perform general production tasks, including assembly, packaging, and packing, to support overall workflow and meet production targets. Inspect windows and materials for defects or quality issues and report or correct problems in accordance with quality standards. Follow all safety procedures and use required protective equipment to handle heavy materials and equipment safely. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production and safe operations. Work collaboratively with team members to complete team lifts of 50-75 pounds and coordinate tasks across the production line. Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production schedules. Essential Skills Proven experience in production, general labor, or general production roles. Ability to perform assembly, packaging, and packing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Capability to consistently lift or team lift 50-75 pounds safely and repeatedly. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate marking, taping, cleaning, wrapping, labeling, and inspection of products. Commitment to safety practices and safe handling of heavy materials and equipment. Reliable attendance and punctuality to support continuous production operations. Physical fitness to work on feet for extended periods in a large production facility. Ability to perform basic inspection tasks and identify defects or quality issues. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in a manufacturing or large production facility environment. Experience with inspection and quality control processes in a production setting. Work Environment This role is based in a large production facility where heavy materials and finished windows move continuously throughout the day. Steel toe boots are required as part of the dress code to ensure foot protection while working around heavy materials and equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fife, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
