Temporary General Production Worker Job Description This temporary general production role supports a high-volume warehouse and manufacturing environment by finishing windows prior to shipment. You will move and handle heavy window units, apply protective stretch wrap, and complete final finishing steps such as marking, taping, cleaning, wrapping, and labeling. The position is physically demanding and requires consistent heavy lifting, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to working safely on a busy production floor. Responsibilities Move windows throughout the warehouse and production floor while handling all materials with care to prevent damage to glass and frames. Perform team lifts of heavy windows, consistently lifting or team lifting 50-75 pounds over the course of the day. Apply stretch wrap and other protective materials to windows to prepare them for shipment. Complete finishing tasks including marking, taping, cleaning, wrapping, and labeling windows and related products. Inspect windows and components for defects or damage and ensure they meet quality standards before shipment. Package and prepare finished products for shipping, ensuring correct labeling and secure packaging. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working around heavy materials and production equipment. Maintain reliable attendance and stay on task to support continuous production flow. Keep the work area clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety. Essential Skills Ability to consistently lift or team lift 50-75 pounds safely throughout the workday. Demonstrated physical fitness and stamina for a physically demanding production role. Strong attention to detail when marking, taping, cleaning, wrapping, labeling, and inspecting products. Previous experience in production, general labor, assembly, or general warehouse work. Experience with packaging and packing finished goods for shipment. Ability to follow safety procedures and prioritize safe work practices. Reliable attendance and punctuality to support production schedules. Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, large production facility. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in general production environments handling large or fragile materials. Experience with inspection or quality checks on finished products. Comfort working with basic hand tools and packaging equipment. Ability to work cooperatively in a team for coordinated lifts and shared tasks. Strong work ethic and willingness to perform repetitive tasks with consistency. Why Work Here? Expect a hands-on, physically demanding setting that involves frequent lifting, team lifting, and movement across the facility. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fife, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
