Sheeter Helper - 2nd Shift

Sheeter Helper Responsible for supporting the Sheeter Operator in converting rolls of paper into specific sizes using correct stock and verifying accuracy. Assists with maintaining efficient machine operation, ensuring product quality, completing required documentation, and supporting material handling and basic maintenance. Hours Monday - Friday, 1:00pm - 9:30pm (overtime and weekend work as required) •This is a safety-sensitive position• Location 26418 79th Ave S Kent, WA 98032 Key Accountabilities / Primary Duties & Responsibilities Assist Sheeter Operator with machine operation according to SOPs and specifications Support production to meet required quantities within tolerances Maintain production logs and track errors or rejected materials Inspect equipment prior to use and perform basic adjustments/maintenance Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area Operate forklifts, roll clamp trucks, and pallet jacks Use tools such as nail gun, staple gun, air hose, hammer, and saw Load, unload, move, and stage materials using powered equipment Pull and verify inventory Build pallets to specification for sheeter and warehouse use Wrap and pack orders for inventory and shipment Assist with receiving and put-away duties Operate baler and ensure proper function Assistance with periodic maintenance and repairs on converting equipment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ year machine operator/helper experience preferred 2+ years general warehouse experience preferred Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn sheeter equipment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment Basic reading and math skills The Physical Requirements and Working Conditions section is intended to describe the nature of work and the minimum requirements of the job in general.
