Job Description

Production Process Coordinator / Team Lead Overview We are seeking a motivated Production Process Coordinator to help oversee operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position serves as a key support role between production employees and leadership, helping ensure daily output goals are achieved while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate enjoys working hands-on with production teams, monitoring operational performance, resolving workflow challenges, and contributing to ongoing process improvements. This role also supports employee development, equipment utilization, inventory flow, and cross-functional communication. Key Responsibilities Lead and support day-to-day production activities within an assigned department. Coordinate work assignments and team priorities to achieve output and performance goals. Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure products meet established quality standards. Promote compliance with workplace safety policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements. Complete and maintain production records, quality documentation, and operational reports. Assist with material planning and inventory tracking to minimize disruptions in production. Collaborate with supply chain, production, and quality teams to support operational continuity. Support documentation and administrative processes associated with production-related contracts and compliance activities. Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements that enhance productivity and quality. Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to production personnel. Monitor equipment performance and escalate maintenance concerns when necessary. Participate in troubleshooting production challenges and supporting corrective actions. Encourage a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Communicate production updates, issues, and priorities across departments and shift teams. Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, food production, or industrial environment. Working knowledge of production operations and equipment. Experience following documented work procedures and regulated production standards. Understanding of quality assurance and process-control practices. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to balance multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting. Comfortable maintaining accurate production and quality records. Ability to obtain forklift certification after hire. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Previous experience leading teams, projects, or production crews. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills. Experience supporting inventory control and material management. Knowledge of workplace safety programs and compliance initiatives. Exposure to supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment. Experience training and developing employees. Familiarity with production documentation and operational recordkeeping systems. Team members regularly work around production machinery and equipment in a structured production setting. Available schedules may include day or evening shifts, with various rotating and fixed schedules depending on department needs. Flex scheduling options may be available, including periodic alternate workdays. Candidates should be open to schedule adjustments based on production demands and business requirements. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Royal City, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
