We have both M-Th 6a - 4:30p and 4p - 2:30a

Production Worker Responsibilities:

The packaging operator works to prevent downtime for Baler Operators by: Ensuring the baler station has a full supply of bags Removing completed bales that do not meet QA/QC standards Filling in for Baler Operators during breaks. Assist Baler Operators with minor maintenance. Other duties as assigned.

The Bagging Operation:

Responsible for operating a variety of machinery, primarily bagging and baler machines, shrink wrapping machines, forklifts Putting covers on completed pallets and stretch-wrapping finished goods. Perform QA/QC by comparing completed pallets of product against weight, height, and visual guides, reporting issues to shift lead. Must operate machinery in a safe and productive manner using the established guidelines and procedures. Responsible for assisting other production areas, as needed. Move and wrap completed products. Will be lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for a minimum of 9 hours per day Maintain a clean workstation. Other duties as assigned.

Production Worker Qualifications/Education:

Prior forklift and production line experience preferred. Will require good eye, hand, and foot coordination. Will need to pass the company forklift training. Required to read and interpret scales. Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to adjust the weight and timing of baler and various other simple maintenance problems. Requires the ability to do simple math calculations.
