Metal Door and Frame Surface Preparator Job Description Prepare metal door and frame surfaces for coating, fit metal glazing beads to each frame, and carry out final surface preparations. Responsibilities Prepare metal door and frame surfaces for coating. Fit metal glazing beads to each frame. Conduct final surface preparations. Essential Skills Experience in production and manufacturing environments. General labor skills including grinding and sanding. Ability to stand for 8-10 hours depending on shift. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Grinding, deburring, or paint prep experience preferred. Willingness to take on additional tasks when primary tasks are completed. Mechanically inclined. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in an extremely clean and modernized warehouse equipped with welding and painting cells, large machinery, a powder coating area, assembly stations, and an inventory area. Be mindful of forklift operations throughout production. Enjoy 30-minute lunch breaks with the option for extended breaks when attending exercise classes. Dress in typical manufacturing attire, including steel-toed shoes, with appropriate sleeves provided as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
