Job Description
About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and continuous production Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance to support reliable operations Adjust controls and settings to optimize product quality and throughput Follow safety, environmental, and operational procedures at all times Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate work and resolve issues What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to safely operate industrial or plant equipment Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety Mechanical aptitude with the capability to troubleshoot basic issues Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn, adapt, and follow standard operating procedures Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
