The Catcher is responsible for supporting production operations by handling, organizing, and preparing paper materials as they come off the production line. This role ensures product quality, maintains workflow efficiency, and supports machine operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Straighten and align paper products as they exit the production line to ensure quality and consistency Lift, stack, and organize finished materials onto skids in accordance with production standards Replace large rolls of paper as needed to maintain continuous production flow Monitor product quality and report any defects or irregularities to the operator or supervisor Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company safety policies Assist machine operators and other team members as needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy materials (including large paper rolls) on a regular basis Frequent standing, bending, and repetitive motion Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Work Environment:
Manufacturing/production floor environment Exposure to moving machinery, noise, and paper dust Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
