Job Overview 4 days/ 10 hr Shift Strek-O Doors is growing! Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Worker on the 1st Shift, where your energy and precision will drive our production line forward! In this vital role, you'll be actively engaged in Lumber Processing, Pressing, Inspecting, Finishing and handling materials to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. Your mechanical aptitude and safety awareness will help maintain a smooth, efficient workflow, contributing to the success of our manufacturing operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment dedicated to continuous improvement. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment and tools safely and efficiently to assemble products according to specifications. Use measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings to ensure precise assembly and quality control. Manage manual handling and heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Utilize power tools and hand tools for mechanical assembly processes. Assist in the movement of materials within the warehouse and factory setting. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to manufacturing processes and equipment operation. Requirements Prior experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is highly preferred but not necessary Ability to interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and use measuring instruments accurately. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques. Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining proper ergonomic practices. Excellent communication skills for working effectively within a team managing production or assembly tasks.

Pay:
$17.50 - $20.00 per hour
