  • Thursday), 6:00am
  • 10:00am (Friday) Join a hands-on, fast-paced production team in Antigo, WI where your work directly supports the creation of high-quality industrial lumber products, custom pallets, and specialty crates.
In this role, you'll stay active and engaged, sorting, stacking, assembling, and inspecting materials while helping keep production running smoothly. Production Associate Responsibilities:
  • Sorts and stacks products or lumber on racks or pallets, according to predetermined sequence such as size or type of wood
  • Assembles customer bundles from stock and places orders on pallets or bands bundles together
  • Marks materials with identifying information
  • Paints by spray or brush, lettering with markers
  • Stacks and bundles lumber from resaw line
  • Reports any and all mechanical problems to lead person
  • Counts bundles of lumber
  • Assists in making crates and pallets
  • Works on the production line to ensure lumber is flowing smoothly
  • Uses a tape measure to check board measurements
  • Sweeps and cleans work area as needed
  • Completes visual inspections of products
  • Rotates with housekeeping duties, including breakrooms and bathrooms Requirements for
Production Associate:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers
  • Ability to read and understand work orders and verbal instructions
  • Ability to accurately and comfortably read measuring equipment
  • Experience in wood manufacturing and knowledge of wood sizes and grains preferred
  • Ability to work in hot/humid summer conditions and cooler winter conditions
  • Ability to work in dusty and loud environments
  • Ability to stand and walk on concrete for 100% of shift
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds up to 50% of the time
