About Tri Star Engines and Transmissions:
Tri Star Engines has been a leader in remanufactured engines for over 30 years. We design and build new and remanufactured engines for all types of original equipment replacement, high performance, marine, industrial and racing applications. Assembly Line Worker/Quality Control Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and follow instructions and established procedures. Collect all materials and tools needed to complete the procedure. Use precision tools to measure and assist in the assembly of the engine using both power and manual tools. Recognize the correct orientation of complex components. Insure that all engine fasteners are tightened and torque to the correct value. Maintain tools and equipment in good condition. Keep records of production measurements, quantities and time. Report issues, malfunction or defective components.
Assembly Line Worker/Quality Control Preferred Requirements:
Proven experience as a production associate Ability in using tools (Micrometers, installation tools, torque wrenches, power tools) and test equipment. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Good understanding of quality control procedures. Good communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition. Able to stand on cement floors for 8 plus hours. Ability to lift and install engine components weighing 40 lbs repeatedly and 80 lbs occasionally. High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree is a plus.
