Summary Willman Industries, Inc. is seeking a responsive, dependable, and adaptable Utility Person for 2nd Shift to support a variety of foundry operations. The Utility Position is a multi-functional role designed to provide support wherever it is needed throughout the foundry. The successful candidate must be willing to learn and perform multiple foundry jobs and be comfortable moving between different work areas and positions based on scheduled production jobs, staffing needs, and the available shift team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys learning new skills, working with different teams, and taking on different responsibilities throughout the workday. Flexibility and a willingness to step in where needed are essential. Responsibilities Work in multiple areas of the foundry as assigned based on production schedules and staffing needs. Learn and perform a variety of foundry jobs and processes. Provide coverage and support for different positions throughout the 2nd shift. Follow established work instructions, production procedures, and safety requirements. Operate foundry equipment and machinery after appropriate training. Perform material handling, cleaning, production support, and other general foundry duties as assigned. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work effectively with different members of the 2nd shift team. Follow all company policies and safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned to support overall foundry operations. Requirements Dependable and responsive with a strong work ethic. Willingness to learn multiple foundry jobs and processes. Ability to work effectively in different departments and positions as needed. Comfortable with changing job assignments and production priorities. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to work safely around foundry equipment, machinery, heat, and industrial environments. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently when assigned while also working effectively as part of a team. Previous foundry or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate. Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull materials as required by assigned positions.
