Summary:
The Production Expediter will ensure production and deadlines are met. Duties/Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
- Reviews product orders and contracts to fully understand deadlines and production quotes.
- Drafts, revises and distributes production schedules.
- Communicates with departments to ensure that materials, components, tools and paperwork are supplied efficiently.
- Identifies problems in workflows, determines required solutions and improvements, and works with production to implements necessary modifications in affected departments and teams.
- Identifies and recommends improvements to increase production.
- Communicates with departments when shipping delays occur.
- Collects and analyzes data regarding efficiency and timeliness of production.
This position oversees the flow of materials and components, moving materials between departments and taking action to solve problems.
Required:
Lifting and pushing at least 25lbs or more throughout the day.
Schedule:
Monday
- Thursday 5am
- 3pm Fridays as needed or volunteered
