Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components used in the manufacturing process.
Duties:
Welds metal parts together using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes according to customer prints and specifications.
Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.
Repairs broken or cracked parts, and fills holes in metal parts.
Packages parts as directed according shop order.
Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
Inspects parts to assure that all processes have been completed and match the shop order.
Assures that all safety procedures, inspections procedures, start-up procedures and housekeeping procedures are followed.
Qualifications:
Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG and TIG.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Strong attention to detail and precision in work
Knowledge of mechanical processes and metal properties This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
