National Carwash Solutions has grown over the past 50 years to become North America's largest equipment, service, and cleaning solutions provider in the car wash industry! Based on De Pere, Wisconsin , our NCS Chemistry facility develops and manufactures the cleaning and care chemicals that power car washes across North America. Our team combines chemical expertise with hands-on innovation to create formulas that deliver a superior wash experience — from soaps and waxes to specialty treatments. Location:
This position is on-site in De Pere, Wisconsin As a Quality Assurance Specialist , you are responsible for in-process and finished product testing to ensure product quality is being maintained.
Job Duties:
Maintain and use laboratory equipment to test materials and finished good to ensure it falls within quality standards of the business unit. Including viscometers, pH meters, titrations, refractometers, and balances Audit the work of production employees to ensure that they are following mixing specifications Inspect incoming raw materials when required to assure it meets company requirements Aid manufacturing personnel regarding quality problems. This may include working with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Customer Service, or other involved departments Inspect all finished products prior to shipment to ensure compliance to company specifications and procedures Maintain records related to all aspects of quality operations Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Science related field Maintain a satisfactory attendance record Comply with company rules, policies, and decisions Perform the responsibilities of the position at a satisfactory level of efficiency Required to regularly use a Personal Computer (P.C.) Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed
Preferred:
Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing firm
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift medium weight up to 75 lbs May stand for prolonged periods of time May stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulations National Carwash Solutions is a proud equal opportunity employer.
