Job Title:
Brake Press Operator 1st Shift Job Description The Press Brake Operator is responsible for operating the press brake machine to bend, shape, and form metal parts according to project specifications. This role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under production deadlines. Responsibilities Operate the press brake machine to bend, shape, and form metal parts according to project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise execution of projects. Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for optimal performance. Ensure quality control and accuracy throughout the production process. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency. Essential Skills Technical proficiency in operating press brake machines. 2-5 years of experience in press brake operating in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment. Experience working with sheet metal, steel plate, or structural components. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. High school diploma or GED preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience operating CNC press brake. Knowledge of bend allowances, tooling selection, and metal forming techniques. Work Environment Work on the 1st shift from 5am to 3pm, Monday through Thursday, with additional opportunities on Fridays. The work environment is centered around efficiency and collaboration, utilizing cutting-edge technology and equipment to achieve production goals. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Denmark, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
