What We're Looking For:
Production Worker Qualifications:
No prior experience required; we'll train you! Must be 18 years or older. Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours). Capable of lifting 20 lbs repetitively and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Comfortable working in a variety of temperatures.

Shift:
3rd shift, 9pm-6:30am, Sunday-Thursday one week, Monday-Thursday the next (Every-other Sunday) (Moving to a rotating schedule, 12 hour shifts in the near future)
Responsibilities:
This position performs the packaging operation of string cheeses, monitoring the machinery and ensuring product quality. Responsibilities include setting up and sanitizing machines before operation, dismantling and cleaning afterward, weighing and bagging product, operating packaging machinery, and maintaining cleanliness of the work area. Regular testing of equipment and product quality is required. The role involves steady standing, lifting up to 35 lbs, and repetitive motions. Must work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

PM Shred :
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, Fridays as needed, 5:00am-5:00pm
Responsibilities:
Pull cheese for production, operate shred machinery, remove bags from conveyor, sanitize all machinery and tools, clean shred room, and complete required documentation. Work is performed in a 40-degree environment and requires steady standing, lifting up to 30 lbs, and repetitive motion. Must work well as part of a team.
Assists with cheese production by monitoring equipment and testing pH/acid levels. Performs tasks like knitting, milling, and boxing cheese. Must work independently and as part of a team in a hot, humid environment. Requires frequent lifting and physical activity.

Whey Operator :
Shift:
1st Shift, 4-3-3 schedule, 6:00am-6:00pm

3rd Shift, 4-3-3 schedule, 6:00pm-6:00am
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor all equipment in the Whey department, including whey pasteurizer, R.O./Polisher, U.F. systems, and C.I.P. systems, along with associated silos. Responsible for cleaning equipment, loading whey products, and accurately recording process data. Must be able to work independently for long periods, tolerate a warm environment, lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders and stoop under pipes. Position includes three 20-minute breaks.

PM Master Operator Shift:
Shift:
3rd Shift, Rotating Schedule, Must be flexible!
Responsibilities:
The Master Operator receives training in all production and packaging departments. This position fills in where needed for employee extended leaves and for open positions while the recruitment process happens. In order to support Burnett Dairy's production needs, this position requires open availability to all days of the week, and times of the day with as much scheduling notice as possible. The right person for this position is someone who is flexible, adaptable and reliable. This person should have good written/verbal communication skills and demonstrate working knowledge of machine operations and overall production processes.
