Job Description

Job Title:
Post-production LeadJob/Position SummaryThe Post-Production Lead is responsible for overseeing all post-production activities to ensure finished goods meet quality standards, production timelines, and customer requirements. This role leads post-production team members, coordinates workflows, resolves production issues, and drives continuous improvement across finishing, inspection, paint, and release processes. The Post-Production Lead plays a key role in maintaining efficiency, safety, and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Primary ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate daily post-production activities, including finishing, assembly completion, inspection, labeling, packaging, and staging.

Ensure production schedules and shipping deadlines are met by balancing labor, materials, and equipment availability.

Monitor workflow and throughput to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

Collaborate with Finishing, Painting, CNC, Additive, Quality, Engineering, and Shipping teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless handoffs.

Train, and mentor post-production operators and technicians. Ensure team members follow standard work instructions. Promote a positive, accountable, and safety-focused work environment.

Ensure post-production processes comply with quality standards, work instructions, and regulatory requirements. Verify finished products meet specifications prior to shipment or inventory release. Support audits, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives related to post-production. Complete shift reports, production documentation, and system transactions as required. Escalate risks, delays, or resource constraints to leadership in a timely manner.

RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED (Associates degree or technical training preferred). 3+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 12 years in a lead or supervisory role. Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and post-production processes. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and production schedules. Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds on occasion. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise and standard industrial conditions. Hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm. Some overtime and Saturdays may be required.

Flexibility to work extended hours as business needs require.
