Maintains the highest quality product through employment of standard operating procedures in all job responsibilities. Performs daily maintenance and general housekeeping. This is a hands-on production role that is a good fit for someone who is dependable, comfortable working on their feet, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Assist in the routine aspects of press operation including jogging signature, webbing up of presses and removal and replacement of skids. Preparing for and assisting press crews during make ready/run, operating rollstand by preparing and loading paper, setting up and maintaining roll consumption system as well as setting up and operating slicer control system. webbing up the press after all press breaks, assisting with compensation and registers. Perform basic equipment checks and report mechanical or production issues to supervisors. Complete production paperwork and other required documentation accurately. Help with equipment changeovers and adjustments as needed. Communicate quality, safety, inventory, or equipment issues promptly.
