Job Title:
General Production Worker Job Description This General Production role supports multiple areas of sporting goods manufacturing, including helmet molding and surface preparation, softball pad printing, trophy casting and assembly, and baseball/softball tee assembly. You will help ensure that every product meets strict safety and quality standards while working in a clean, climate-controlled production environment as part of a small, collaborative team. Responsibilities Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing processes and procedures at all times. Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of hazards, contributing to a safe and efficient work area. Work cooperatively as part of a small team and remain flexible in supporting activities beyond your primary job duties as needed.Helmet molding and surface preparation:
cut helmet carbon patterns using a pattern cutting machine. Essential Skills Ability to operate production machinery safely and effectively after training. Ability to perform manual assembly tasks with attention to detail and product quality. Capability to follow written and verbal instructions, including product specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ability to apply basic math concepts and read measurements using fractions and decimals. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in assembly, production, or general labor roles. Familiarity with hands-on, physical tasks. Experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a clean, organized, climate-controlled production facility. Depending on the department, you may be exposed to dust, airborne fibers, dirt, noise, vibrations, chemicals, and solvents. Appropriate personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, sleeves, smocks, face shields, and face masks, is required while performing certain tasks. You will work in small production cells of about 5-6 people, which encourages collaboration and communication. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
