Production Support Associate (Part-Time)

Role:

This position provides flexible support across departments as needed to assist with production and shipping. We are currently hiring for a part-time role (20-25 hours per week) with shifts scheduled between 6:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities Package materials using prefabricated cartons, custom wooden crates, or customer-specified skids/pallets Ensure parts are clean, properly packaged, and securely prepared for shipment Clean and deburr parts using appropriate tools and equipment Prepare for assembly tasks by reviewing blueprints, instructions, and part lists; gather required tools, materials, subassemblies and components Accurately position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements Assemble components by aligning parts and securely fastening them, ensuring proper fit and function Verify assembly specifications by measuring completed components Inspect, clean and package finished parts to specifications Maintain a safe, organized and clean work area and comply with company procedures and safety regulations Contribute to company goals and continuous improvement efforts Demonstrate Aztalan's core values - Excellence, Support, Ownership and Progress Maintain a positive and professional work environment Adhere to regular and reliable attendance Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must have High School diploma or equivalent Must have Valid Driver's License Must be very detail oriented and quality focused Must have strong problem-solving and organizational skills Must use solid judgement and independent thinking Must have a positive and professional demeanor Must be capable of physical activity, including standing for up to 8 hours per day, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, loading and unloading trucks, etc. Aztalan is an equal opportunity employer.
