About the Role At Northside Elevator, we take pride in producing safe, high-quality animal feed for our customers. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our Feed Production team. In this hands-on role, you'll help manufacture feed products, operate production equipment, manage ingredients and inventory, and support daily operations throughout the mill. Whether you have previous feed mill experience or are eager to learn a new industry, we provide training and opportunities to grow with our team. What You'll Do Weigh and prepare ingredients for feed production according to established procedures. Verify that products are accurately placed in designated ingredient bins. Retrieve, prepare, and track medicated feed products as required. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Assist with inventory organization, counts, and stock monitoring. Operate feed manufacturing and bagging equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor and refill ingredient bins to support production schedules. Keep the production area clean, organized, and safe. Safely operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and weigh buggies. Assist coworkers with loading bagged feed and help customers load purchases when needed. Follow all company policies, safety standards, GMPs, SOPs, and applicable regulations. What We're Looking For Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience Previous experience in feed manufacturing, grain handling, agriculture, or a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds repeatedly. Ability to operate pallet jacks and move materials weighing up to 2,000 pounds. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, climbing, and performing physical work throughout the day. Ability to work in a feed manufacturing environment, including exposure to dust.
