Job Is Really Like:
Our workload can vary significantly throughout the year. There are times when this department is very manageable and allows plenty of time to stay ahead and organized. There are also busy stretches, especially leading into the holidays, when greeting card, mug, and metal orders can arrive quickly and in large quantities. During those periods, being able to plan ahead, prioritize, stay organized, and keep calm under pressure is extremely important. We want applicants to understand that this position involves more responsibility than simply operating printers. You will eventually have significant ownership over the workflow, organization, supplies, and production schedule within your department. For someone who enjoys being trusted to manage their own area and likes seeing physical products move from a computer file to a finished order, it can be a very rewarding position.
