This role plays a key part in the construction of high-quality building components used in post-frame structures. You'll work in a new, modern, clean, and safety-focused manufacturing facility designed for efficiency, comfort, and high-quality production. As part of our team, you'll help build roof and structural trusses while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that prioritizes safety and craftsmanship. What You'll Do Assemble wood trusses using pre-cut lumber and metal connector plates Read and follow truss drawings, cut sheets, and production schedules Operate hand tools, pneumatic equipment, and truss table systems Ensure trusses are built accurately to specifications and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Perform visual quality checks on completed trusses Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals Follow all safety procedures, including proper material handling and equipment use What You Bring Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work in a physically demanding role (lifting, standing, repetitive motion) Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to read measurements and basic construction drawings (preferred but not required—we will train) Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude Previous construction, manufacturing, or carpentry experience is a plus Work Environment & Physical Requirements Brand new, modern plant with advanced equipment and optimized workflow Clean, well-organized workspace designed with safety in mind Indoor production environment with exposure to typical manufacturing conditions (noise, dust, equipment) Frequent lifting of materials (up to 50+ lbs) and standing for extended periods Why Wick Buildings Competitive Pay +
