Job Description

Job Title:
General Production Worker Job Description As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machines, collecting product samples using a forklift, and managing the movement of products to various stages such as storage, shipping, processing, or packaging. Your duties also include making labels, filling drums with material to the correct weight, closing containers, placing labels, stacking, and transporting them to storage areas. Your role requires regular lifting of up to 50 lbs, with Plant #1 being more physically demanding, whereas Plant #3 is more automated and requires patience due to potential downtime. Responsibilities Set up and operate machines. Collect product samples using a forklift. Turn valves and start pumps to move products to storage, shipping, processing, or packaging. Make and apply labels. Fill drums with material to the correct weight or measurement. Close containers, place labels, stack, and transport to storage areas. Observe machines to ensure quality. Regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Essential Skills Experience in production, general production, and as a machine operator. Forklift operation proficiency. Knowledge of food manufacturing processes. Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Additional Skills & Qualifications +1 year of food manufacturing experience preferred. Open to candidates with good work history without food manufacturing experience. Why Work Here? There are skill-based bonuses around proficiency, efficiency, and consistency. After one year without any days off, you'll earn 14 PTO days, with additional PTO earned monthly for perfect attendance. Work Environment The work environment consists of two main facilities: Plant #1, which is physically demanding, and Plant #3, which is more automated. At Plant #1, shifts run from 5 am to 3 pm or 6 am to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday, with frequent overtime on Fridays. The Material Handler schedule is from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. At Plant #3, the first shift runs from 4:45 am to 12:45 pm, and the second shift from 12:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Shifts can end 30 minutes to 2 hours later based on daily production needs. The facility operates under food manufacturing standards, requiring hair nets, beard nets, and adherence to GMP procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of
