Handle and work with lumber, power tools, and hand tools as part of general labor and general production duties. Assist with tasks related to building wood trusses or applying sheathing as needed. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and follow all safety guidelines and procedures. Communicate clearly with teammates and supervisors to coordinate tasks and address questions quickly. Essential Skills Minimum 6 months of experience using hand tools or power tools in a production, construction, woodworking, or similar environment. Demonstrated ability to perform tasks quickly while maintaining a strong focus on safety. Comfort working in a fast-paced, loud environment with defined daily production goals. Basic computer proficiency to operate CNC equipment such as the Linear Saw (Hund-Dinger). Capability to stand on your feet for up to 10 hours a day and perform physically demanding tasks. Reliability in bringing required personal tools and equipment, including steel-toed boots, a hammer, and a tape measure, on the first day. Familiarity with nail guns, power tools, and common hand tools used in manufacturing or construction. Experience in general labor or general production roles in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Exposure to building wood trusses or applying sheathing is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude, especially when operating CNC machinery. Ability to work both independently and with 1-2 teammates at a station while maintaining productivity. High-performance mindset with the ability to stay focused and engaged throughout the shift. Why Work Here? You will join a small shop environment that prioritizes employee development, support, and teamwork.
