Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a General Production - Sanding specialist! We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented team member to join our cabinet manufacturing team focusing on sanding and finishing wood and composite materials to ensure high-quality products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting the creation of top-tier products. Responsibilities Operate sanding equipment and power tools to smooth and finish surfaces of millwork, furniture components, or other fabricated parts Use hand tools and fabrication techniques to refine product details and prepare items for assembly or finishing processes Handle materials safely within the warehouse or production floor, ensuring proper storage and movement using forklifts or other material handling equipment Assist in assembly and fabrication tasks as needed to support production flow Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment during all tasks Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while ensuring quality standards are met Experience Previous experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or a related production environment is preferred Familiarity with forklift operation, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment is highly desirable Knowledge of carpentry, fabrication, or construction processes will be advantageous Warehouse experience that includes materials handling and inventory management is a plus Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build their expertise in manufacturing and woodworking. Pay:
From $19.00 per hour
