PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBER
Great People. Great Opportunity. Woodport Doors is growing, and we're looking for a motivated Production Team Member to join our team in Shawano. As a Bayer Built Woodworks company, Woodport combines a long history of quality craftsmanship with new opportunities for growth, investment and advancement. If you're a hard worker who likes staying busy and is looking for a place to learn and grow, we want to talk to you. No experience needed — we'll train you! What You'll Be Doing Assist Machine Operators with machine setup and operation. Load and unload product and help assemble and craft doors. Move doors through each stage of the manufacturing process. Read and follow production schedules. Gather materials to keep production running smoothly. Perform quality checks to make sure specifications are met. Control waste and look for ways to improve. Record downtime and production information. Cross-train and help in other areas of the plant as needed. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment. What We're Looking For No experience required — manufacturing or wood industry experience is a plus. Ability to read a tape measure and/or caliper and work with fractions and decimals. Ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks and work with a sense of urgency. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication and listening skills. Flexibility and willingness to learn new tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and commitment to working safely. High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18 or older.
