Job Description Position Title:
General Production Wage:
$19.50 per hour
Shift:
2nd, 3rd
Hours:
3:00pm-11:00pm; 11:00pm-7:00am QPS Employment Group has a great General Production position available at a company in Sheboygan, WI. This is a 2nd and 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire. General Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Loading and unloading parts on machining lines.
  • Inspecting parts to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Reviewing and following process instructions, quality alerts, and production requirements.
  • Removing flash and performing basic finishing activities as required.
  • Processing, certifying, and packaging finished parts.
  • Completing production tags and related documentation accurately.
  • Monitoring scrap requirements and quality standards at the start of each shift.
  • Communicating production, quality, or equipment concerns to supervision.
  • Following all safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Maintaining clean and organized work area.
General Production Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in hot temperatures; frequent walking, bending, twisting, lifting, and carrying (up to 50 pounds) throughout shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, repetitive environments.
  • Working knowledge of grinders, sanders, hand tools, and inspection and packaging equipment (or willingness to learn).
