General Production Worker

General Production Worker Job Overview You'll run and support different machines in a metal fabrication shop, including CNC equipment, bandsaws, and burn tables. The goal is to keep production moving, make quality parts, and follow safety guidelines. What You'll Do Run CNC and manual machines based on daily production needs Set up machines with the right materials and measurements before starting Keep an eye on machines while they're running and fix small issues if needed Read blueprints and work instructions to make parts correctly Help with metal finishing when needed Work with welding, painting, and other teams to keep production flowing Check finished parts to make sure they meet quality standards Follow all safety rules and wear proper protective gear Keep your work area clean and organized Work overtime when needed to meet deadlines What You Need Experience running machines in a production or fabrication setting Basic CNC experience (setup and operation) Experience with bandsaws and burn tables Ability to read blueprints Comfortable working around welding and fabrication processes Strong attention to detail Willing to work 2nd shift Nice to Have Experience in a fabrication or weld shop Experience working across departments (welding, paint, etc.) Willingness to learn different machines and tasks Good teamwork and communication Why This Job Opportunity to grow and move up into higher-level roles Company promotes from within Overtime available for extra earnings Potential to move into a permanent position Work Environment Open welding and fabrication shop Can be noisy and a little dirty (typical shop environment) Work around welding, CNC machines, and other equipment

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (2nd shift) Overtime available Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Somerset, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
