Job Description
We're looking for the kind of person who sees something that needs to be done... and does it. The next you could be loading trucks, organizing inventory, packaging finished orders, making a local delivery, or helping another department hit a deadline. If you're the kind of person who says, "I've got it," instead of "That's not my job," you'll fit in great! What You'll Do Operate production equipment (training provided) Load and unload trucks Pull, stage, and stock materials Package and prepare finished products for shipment Assist with local deliveries Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Jump in wherever the team needs you What We're Looking For We're more interested in attitude than a perfect résumé. The right person is dependable, works hard, enjoys physical work, takes pride in doing things right, and treats teammates with respect. Preferred Experience You don't need to check every box, but these skills will set you apart: Machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment Manufacturing, production, warehouse, or distribution experience Forklift certification or forklift operating experience Experience driving pickup trucks, flatbeds, or delivery vehicles Mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools Experience working with lumber, building materials, or woodworking equipment Pay Starting pay is based on the skills, experience, and value you bring to our team. Candidates with machine operation, forklift, manufacturing, warehouse, or commercial driving experience are encouraged to apply and may qualify for higher starting pay. Why Prairie Hardwoods?
