Entry level Production Worker

Job Purpose Support the plant in performing a combination of various tasks as a member of the team. Job Responsibilities • Perform clean-up and utility duties under direction from supervisor (sweeping floors, picking up trash, painting, cleaning equipment, etc.) • Work in Green End operations ensuring wood is processed correctly; work in Finishing End operations ensureing that finished product is packaged and ready for customers or work in the Press area.

Job Requirements:

Education (including licenses and certifications): GED or equivalent.

Experience:

No experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Understand and obey all safety policies, standards, and regulations at company, state, and federal levels. Recognize and comply with all environmental policies and procedures including spill response, general waste, and wood waste procedures. Excellent time management and teamwork skills. Advanced knowledge of line position duties and functions. Advance knowledge of plant clean-up and utility functions.
