Job Description
The Freeman is seeking a part-time Pressroom Assistant for an entry-level position working with web offset newspaper press equipment. Hours are approximately 5 pm - 9 pm, Monday through Friday nights. No experience is required as we will train the right candidate, however being mechanically inclined is a definite plus. Responsibilities include repetitive lifting between 15-25 pounds, standing for extended periods, and learning basic pressroom operations. Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines, work well with others, and be dependable with a good attendance record. A high school diploma is required.
