Metal fabrication Dimensional measurements Attention to detail Quality inspection Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Punch Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting daily operations. The Punch Press Operator will set up and run a punch press to cut, shape, and form metal materials according to blueprints and work orders. Key duties include loading materials, operating the machinery, calibrating settings, performing frequent quality inspections per our ISO/QMS requirements, conducting routine maintenance, and maintaining production logs. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality. Duties Set up and operate punch press equipment to produce parts according to specifications and production requirements. Load and unload raw materials, blanks, or coils as required. Install, change, and adjust dies, tooling, and related equipment. Verify machine settings, material dimensions, and tooling before beginning production. Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, templates, or other inspection equipment. Monitor production quality and identify defects, tooling issues, or machine problems. Make minor machine adjustments as necessary to maintain part quality and production efficiency. Perform routine preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting as assigned. Record production quantities, scrap, downtime, and other required manufacturing information. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable lockout/tagout requirements. Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Work cooperatively with supervisors and other production employees. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 5+ years experience in manufacturing, machine operation, stamping, punch press, or metal fabrication. Experience operating forklifts, power tools, and hand tools preferred, but not required Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand machine operation and basic tooling. Ability to read and understand work instructions, job travelers, blueprints, and basic measuring specifications. Experience using basic measuring equipment is preferred. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to safety and detail Strong work ethic with reliable attendance and punctuality; self-motivated Familiarity with

9001 or similar quality management system Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks regularly - bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs.
