Manufacturing Associate (Industrial fabric industry) 1 yr. experience preferred

Wausau Canvas Co., Inc., the areas leading industrial fabric products manufacturer has job opportunities in our fabrics and awning departments for individuals with fabrication, assembly or metal fab experience. Products include industrial canvas products, military products, custom canvas products, commercial and residential awnings, motorized awnings, shade structures, shade sails, boat covers, boat lift canopies, Required skills: fabrication experience use of basic hand tools and power tools work from a measured drawing accurately read and use a tape measure follow written and verbal instruction good problem solving skills Must be able to lift 50 lbs. valid drivers license. Job duties : seaming CNC cut fabric pieces with fabric welding equipment making a variety of fabric products cutting aluminum and steel parts covering awning frames with fabric Individuals in the awning dept. will install and service awnings throughout central and northern WI. assisting wherever needed as work load requires Great opportunity for people who enjoy variety in their work. We work 4-10 hour days ( M-Thurs), so every weekend is a 3 day weekend!
