Printing Press Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to: Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed expectations. Prepares for upcoming orders. Packages/wraps finished rolls. Monitors viscosities and completes PH forms. Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses. Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product. Ability to fill-in for the Press Operator job when necessary. 2, 2, 3 rotating between days and nights every two weeks

Physical Demands:

The employee must frequently position or move up to 25 - 50 pounds. Lifting or moving items weighing greater than 50 pounds requires the use of lifting equipment or co-worker assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus as well as ability to see appropriate colors.

Work Environment:

Work primarily in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection and other necessary PPE as required. May be exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, inks, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area.
