Press Operator Are you looking to work in a quick pace and fun environment that will allow you to advance in the company and apply your skills? 1st Shift -7am to 7pm with a 4/3/4 Schedule. Pay is $18 hr.3rd Shift - 7am to 7pm with a 4/3/4 Schedule. Pay is $18.75 hr. Duties and ResponsibilitiesPreparing for and assisting press crews during MR/Run.

Operating rollstand by preparing and loading paper.

Use an electric walker pallet jack.

Setting up and maintaining RCS as well as setting up and operating slicer control system.

Planning and organizing jobs by reading schedule, job control and layout.

Ordering paper and monitoring ink supply and assigning responsibilities. Webbing up the press after all press breaks, assisting with compensation and registers as well as jogging when needed.

Retrieve pallets with electric pallet jack and load pallets onto machine as well as unload them when finished.

Label product stacks once completed and make sure labels match correctly with the products on pallets. QualificationsAbility to work 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Ability to work overtimes as needed is required.

Lift 10-15 pounds continuously, lift 50 pounds occasionally, stand for long hours, use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement.

Receive and follow instructions.

Use vision to identify defects with or without reasonable accommodation.

Good verbal and written comprehension, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and work independently with minimal supervision.

The ability to perform bask math calculations.

Previous Manufacturing/Warehouse experience as well as either Machine Operating or mechanical experience. Must be able to pay attention to detail. Why work for Qualified Staffing?
