Job Description:
IntePros is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Representative for an 18 month contract opportunity in San Jose, CA. This onsite role supports laboratory testing and quality documentation for raw materials, in process items, and finished products within a regulated life sciences environment. It is an excellent opportunity for a laboratory quality professional with experience performing chemical and biochemical analyses, reviewing test data, maintaining analytical equipment, and supporting quality investigations.
Quality Assurance Representative Responsibilities:
Perform testing in support of stability programs and formulation studies. Review laboratory test data for compliance with specifications and report abnormalities. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory and analytical equipment. Assist with the preparation of laboratory investigations, technical summaries, and reports. Revise and update standard operating procedures as needed. Support special projects involving analytical testing and instrument problem solving. Assist with developing laboratory testing methods and analytical procedures. Follow established quality guidelines, laboratory procedures, and regulatory requirements. Work independently and collaboratively to complete assigned laboratory activities. Perform additional responsibilities and quality projects as assigned. Education and Experience At least two years of relevant laboratory, quality assurance, or quality control experience. Relevant knowledge acquired through professional experience, specialized education, or technical training. Experience performing chemical, biochemical, or analytical laboratory testing. Experience working with raw materials, in process items, finished products, stability samples, or formulation studies preferred. Previous experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or life sciences industry preferred.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Working knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality systems Experience reviewing laboratory data against established specifications Familiarity with laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting Experience preparing investigations, technical summaries, and quality reports Knowledge of standard operating procedures and laboratory documentation practices Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data documentation
