Job Summary We are seeking a Quality Control Line Inspector for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Livermore, CA within a biotechnology and pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role supports production line quality by performing inspections, verifying documentation, reviewing labels, collecting samples, and ensuring manufacturing and packaging activities follow batch instructions and quality procedures. Key Responsibilities

• Provide Quality support to production lines by verifying adherence to batch instructions, procedures, specifications, and quality standards.
• Perform and document inspections, line checks, sampling procedures, first article inspections, first pallet inspections, random finished product inspections, and AQL checks.
• Conduct line clearance inspections to confirm removal of previous products, components, and materials before production begins.
• Review batch documentation, approve production labels, maintain QC inspection reports, and complete daily summary logs.
• Identify and report non-conformances, stop production or shipment when major quality issues are found, and perform follow-up inspections on reworked products.
• Collect, identify, and manage QC retain samples, customer samples, lab testing samples, and daily temperature monitoring documentation. Compensation and Benefits

• Pay:

  $24.00 to $25.00 per hour.

  Livermore, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills
• Support production line quality inspections in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Perform line clearance, first article inspections, sampling, AQL checks, and finished product inspections.
• Review batch records, labels, QC reports, retain samples, and production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor non-conformances, rework inspections, shipment verification, and quality compliance on the production floor.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant quality control, line inspection, production inspection, or regulated manufacturing experience.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and rounding.
• Basic computer skills, including keyboarding, data entry, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Ability to accurately document inspections, sampling activities, non-conformances, temperature logs, and quality records.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail, accountability, professionalism, and ownership of assigned tasks. Preferred Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years of Quality Control experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with batch records, line clearance, AQL inspections, retain samples, deviation documentation, and label review.
• Familiarity with GMP, cGMP, SOPs, quality systems, and production packaging operations.
• Prior experience supporting manufacturing or packaging lines in a fast-paced quality inspection role.
