Job Description:
As a Digital QC LIMS Scientist, you will be part of the local LIMS teams, supporting routine Quality Control operations and the realization of local and global digital transformation initiatives. In this role, you will report to the local Head of Digital QC LIMS and collaborate with a global network of LIMS professionals across Europe and Australia. You will interact with stakeholders from Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Production, Laboratory Execution Systems, and IT to support and drive digital laboratory solutions. Responsibilities Perform, review and document dynamic and static data changes in LIMS Provide 1st and 2nd level support for LIMS users and LIMS data consumers. Follow CSL documentation and data integrity requirements associated with generation and reporting of cGMP activities. Lead the development of LIMS calculations in close collaboration with requestors. Coordinate the implementation of local and global changes and projects and act as a subject matter expert for LIMS related topics. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Natural Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience Demonstrated ability to work effectively at the intersection of laboratory science and information technology.
Candidates may come from either:
a scientific or laboratory background with strong digital and IT capabilities, or an IT background with experience in or exposure to laboratory and scientific environments. Proven experience as a data steward or master data expert, preferably with LIMS Experience working in or supporting laboratory and scientific environments, preferably within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other life sciences organizations. Experience with SQL and database concepts is considered an advantage. Competencies The willingness and ability to build expertise in the respective complementary domain (Laboratory and IT) are essential. Strong IT affinity, technical aptitude, and a genuine interest in technology and digital solutions are required. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders Self-motivated individuals with a proactive mindset, capable of independently exploring complex topics, building subject matter expertise, and developing practical solutions. Quality Mindset & Compliance Culture The expected base salary range for this position at hiring is $68,000 -78,000. Please note this salary range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay that CSL expects to pay for this position at the listed location as of the time of this posting. Individual base salary for a successful candidate is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors. In addition to base salary, total compensationfor this role may also include incentive compensation and equity.
