Job Description
As a Quality Control Analyst here at Solstice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and analysis. Your expertise in laboratory techniques and chemical analysis will be essential in maintaining our high standards and supporting our commitment to excellence. You will report directly to our Quality Control Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Metropolis, IL location on a 12-hour rotating shift . In this role, you will impact our production processes by ensuring that all materials meet stringent quality standards. Your work will help identify any deviations from specifications, enabling timely corrective actions that enhance product quality and safety. Additionally, your contributions will support continuous improvement initiatives, ultimately leading to increased efficiency and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform chemical analyses and tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Document and report test results, maintaining accurate records for quality assurance purposes. Collaborate with production and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory environment, specifically in chemical analysis. Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures. Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and analytical instruments. Familiarity with quality control processes and standards. Experience with data analysis software and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).WE VALUE
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to continuous improvement and quality excellence.COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $ $63,500k-$79,500k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
