Manufacturing Microscopy Full Job Description Quality Control Technician Location:
Bedford, MA Pay:
$23-$27 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 12pm to 8pm
Interview Process:
One in-person interview A medical device manufacturer in Bedford, MA is seeking a hands-on Quality Control Technician to inspect manufactured components and finished products. The ideal candidate will have dimensional or visual inspection experience in manufacturing, medical devices or a similar environment. Responsibilities Perform dimensional and visual inspections of components and finished products Use calipers, micrometers, comparators or other precision measuring tools Inspect products according to established procedures and specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and technical documentation Identify and document nonconforming materials Complete or support nonconformance reports (NCRs) Record inspection results accurately and maintain product traceability Communicate inspection findings and quality concerns to supervisors Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications Hands-on dimensional or visual inspection experience Experience using calipers, micrometers, comparators or similar precision measuring tools Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints Experience documenting nonconforming materials or completing NCRs Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Basic Microsoft Excel skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Manufacturing, cleanroom, medical device or other regulated industry experience is preferred Job Disclaimer Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
