Although MTI began as a tool & die heat treater, the company now offers full service capabilities that include: Vacuum Processing of the Tool Steels, Induction, Carburizing, and Neutral Hardening. MTI has broad range of customers. Customer satisfaction has been demonstrated by customer loyalty.
Job Summary:
Monitor the quality of all division heat-treating processes and the Receiving/Order Entry/Shipping Division.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
ISO/AS9100
internal auditing. Communicate with management, supervisors, and employees concerning quality issues. Review specifications from external organizations and ensure adherence in procedures. Laboratory hardness testing back-up. Perform daily verification tests on hardness testing equipment in Tool & Die. Complete required quality assurance paperwork. Review and administer changes to Quality Management System documentation. Manage the internal Document Control Master List. Assist training functions as directed. Work alongside HR to oversee company training programs for Heat Treating, Safety, Human Resources, Quality, Maintenance, etc. Internal Calibration of Micrometers. Tracking calibrations done by outside services. Ensure security and proper use of company equipment, tooling and supplies. Adhere to all safety standards and procedures, and maintains an ongoing awareness of safety for self and others in assigned work areas. Participate in company sponsored training as required.
Qualifications:
Ability to work well with customers and division employees. Attention to detail. Mid-level Computer Skills. AS9100 experience.
Working Conditions:
Office and factory environment; may encounter dirt, dust, oil, processing chemicals, and a large range of temperatures.
Physical Requirements:
Considerable amount of walking. Climbing stairs daily. Able to sit at a desk for long intervals.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Pay:
$41,600.00 - $45,760.00 per year
