Quality Control Lab Analyst I Ajinomoto Health & Nutrition North America, Inc. - 3.7 Raleigh, NC Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Responsible for performing routine release testing for finished goods and raw materials. Perform chemical, physical and microbiological tests of raw materials in progress and final product Conduct regular environmental tests to include but not limited to water, wastewater and other materials as necessary Prepare reagents, media, samples and standards as required Abide by procedures, as written, for each test performed Accurately record all test data and perform required calculations Operate, calibrate and perform routine maintenance on lab equipment Troubleshoot equipment and procedural problems Implement and maintain files of all documents, samples, and other records Other duties as assigned The statements contained herein reflect general details as necessary to describe the principal functions for this job, the level of knowledge and skill typically required, and the scope of responsibility, but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in a scientific field. Experience working in a lab setting performing chemistry and/or microbiological testing is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Hazard Analysis, and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and food safety guidelines. Working knowledge of lab equipment, glassware and instrumentation with lab bench skills. Ability to utilize standard GLP's for operation. Good organizational skills with the ability to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with little to no direction. Ability to multi-task and adapt to change.
