$24•30/hour , depending on experience Weekend & holiday support may be required We're seeking a QC Microbiology Analyst I to join a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing organization in Winston-Salem, NC. This role will support routine microbiological testing and environmental monitoring within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment . What You'll Do Perform routine Environmental Monitoring (EM) of GMP-controlled areas Support personnel monitoring during manufacturing operations Perform microbiological testing including bioburden, endotoxin, and sterility testing Perform enumeration, Gram staining, streaking, and isolation of recovered organisms Collect and test environmental and utility samples Follow SOPs, work instructions, protocols, and safety requirements Maintain accurate and timely GMP documentation Support SOP, work instruction, form, and protocol revisions Assist with laboratory equipment qualification and process improvement initiatives Maintain QC laboratory inventory and coordinate material requests Maintain high hygiene and aseptic practices required for GMP cleanroom operations Collaborate with Manufacturing and other Quality functions to support timely testing and reporting What We're Looking For High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific field is a plus 1-2 years of relevant microbiology experience Pharmaceutical or other GMP-regulated laboratory experience strongly preferred Basic understanding of cGMP requirements and cleanroom practices Experience with Environmental Monitoring, bioburden, endotoxin, or sterility testing is highly desirable Familiarity with LIMS is a plus Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a highly regulated, compliance-driven environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform bending, lifting, and squatting as required Why Consider This Opportunity?
