A Quality Control Analyst, in the biotech and medical device industries, works in laboratories performing biological, microbiological, and chemical tests on products and materials. Responsible for calibrating equipment, inspecting products, processing and testing materials, and reporting results. May work in other production environments to monitor and improve quality and efficiency in production systems and products.
We are representing a company seeking a detail-oriented professional to support routine laboratory testing within Quality Control. Our team is looking for someone who brings strong analytical skills, a careful approach to documentation, and a positive mindset to help support day-to-day lab operations and controlled document practices.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine laboratory procedures in support of Quality Control testing. Collect, handle, document, compute, compile, interpret, and enter data into computerized systems. Maintain and operate specialized equipment and support laboratory operations. Learn and comply with safety guidelines, cGMPs, CFRs, training records, laboratory documentation, written procedures, building monitoring systems, and laboratory notebooks.
Required:
High school/GED plus 2 years of work experience, or an Associate degree plus 6 months of work experience, or a Bachelor's degree. Some lab experience is required; candidates with no lab experience will not be considered. Strong analytical skills are required. Attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude are required.
